Educated at the University of Yaoundé (Cameroon) and the University of Melbourne (Australia), Remy has been a Project Leader at UN-HABITAT, Strategic Resource Analyst and Research Scientist at the Victoria Department of Primary Industries (Australia), GIS Officer at the UN Economic Commission for Africa and a lecturer in GIS at the University of the West Indies in Kingston, Jamaica.

 

Rachelle ALTERMAN

Professor of planning and Law in the Faculty of Architecture and Town Planning at the Technion – Israel Institute of Technology

Founding President and Honorary Fellow, the International Academic Association on Planning, Law and Property Rights. Co-Founder, Platform of Experts in Planning Law, Rachelle’s fields of expertise include Comparative Planning Law and Land Use Regulation, Comparative Land Policy and Property Right, Housing policy, Planning Theory and Method and Implementation of Public Policy.

William CHANDLER

Chandler Consulting Services Pty Ltd, Australia

Bill Chandler is a consultant in city planning, transport and design specialising in planning strategy and urban design. He has worked extensively for all levels of government, the private sector, institutions and the community sector on both major projects and detailed design. He has been awarded the Order of Australia medal for service to urban design and planning, and received a Lifetime Achievement Award by the Planning Institute of Australia.

Eugénie BIRCH

Lawrence C. Nussdorf Professor of Urban Research and Education and Chair of the Graduate Group in City and Regional Planning, University of Pennsylvania

Genie Birch is a member of the College of Fellows of the American Institute of Certified Planners and an honorary member of the Royal Town Planning Institute. She has been a member of the (US) Planning Accreditation Board, serving as its chair from 2004 to 2006. She has been President of the Association of Collegiate Schools of Planning; President of the Society of American City and Regional Planning History and Co-editor of the Journal of the American Planning Association. With Christine Platt, she co-chairs the World Urban Campaign.
